35 cubic metres of extruded polystyrene were used for sculptures at the sayan ring festival
For the second time THERMIT has become a sponsor of the Sayan Ring Ethnic Music Festival. Extruded polystyrene is not only an efficient thermal insulation material, but is perfectly suitable for creating dimensional light-weight sculptures.
It is easy to process and install. On the Festival sites different figures were created using THERMIT XPS. Special projection screens were made of XPS to show video installations at night. The famous Krasnoyarsk artist “shod” the trees in huge bast shoes made of extruded polystyrene.
Dimensional designs aroused great interest of the guests of the Festival, so almost everyone took photos with them.
