How to improve thermal insulation material properties?
At the Krasnoyarsk THERMIT plant laboratory we carry out the research to improve properties of THERMIT XPS thermal insulation which has already given a good account of itself. Microparticles of different materials are incorporated into XPS structure.
Carbon and vermiculite are used in the experiment. The first results exceed all expectations. Even now we can notice an improvement of a number of properties. In particular, we see improvement of extruded polystyrene thermal insulation properties by 10-15% due to carbon and vermiculite additives.
