Edham Akbulatov, the Head of the Krasnoyarsk Government, visited THERMIT
On 23rd July 2011 the Head of the Krasnoyarsk Government Edham Akbulatov, the Minister of Investment and Innovations Andrey Volf, the Minister of Transport Zakhar Titov and the representatives of the Ministries of Industry, Energy, Construction and Architechture visited THERMIT plant.
The delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Government viewed THERMIT’s new extruded polystyrene thermal insulation boards and manufacturing lines of xps-based building materials The chief-manager of THERMIT Ravil Gainutdinov conveyed that the new hardware allowed increasing 4 times the volume of production. “Extruded polystyrene is an efficient thermal insulation material of good quality. Moreover, it is ozone-friendly, because its manufacturing process does not involve freon. We are constantly developing new polystyrene products. Creating a new product is much more interesting than regular production of thermal insulation materials.”
The Prime-Minister of Krasnoyarsk region was satisfied with the plant and pointed out that our region is extremely interested in the enterprises working on new products. “We should realize that in the present conditions only an efficient industry can be commercially viable. This means therefore you have to continue the work on labour efficiency improvement, and the Government will continue supporting such projects. From the point of view of demand it can be said that the local manufactures production finds market at the construction projects which are financed by budget funds and other investments. Our aim is to extend the range of products applied in building. The search of new concepts presented by the head of the plant is worth all kinds of stimulations. THERMIT demonstrates new approach in everything: new products, new technologies and new approach to manufacturing process management. This plant is in fact a point of reference for other building industry companies. I think that within the framework of the new Ministry of Investment and Innovations we will decide which additional support measures we can assume to support such enterprises”, asserted Edham Akbulatov.
THERMIT XPS insulation boards are used in civil and industrial engineering, road construction, railroad beds and airport runways construction. In Krasnoyarsk region these materials were used in one of the SFU (Siberian Federal University) buildings, in the building of the Big Concert Hall, the district court of the Oktyabrsky area, Ice palace, cancer centre in Norilsk, a number of business centers and other facilities.
